Who is eligible for a home loan cashback?

Eligibility for a home loan cashback varies depending on the lender's criteria. For example, borrowers will likely need to meet certain requirements, such as a required loan-to-value ratio (LVR), a minimum loan amount or settling within a specified time period. It's important to check with individual lenders to understand their specific eligibility criteria for a home loan cashback. Explore whether you are eligible for a cashback when you switch your home loan to IMB.

Are there any restrictions with how I can use my home cashback?

At IMB, if you are eligible for the cashback offer, there are no restrictions on how you may use the funds. For example, you could use the funds to reimburse refinancing costs, pay for a special purchase or just save the funds for a rainy day.

How long does it take for the cashback to be made available?

The time it takes for a home loan cashback to be made available varies depending on the lender and their processes. Generally, it could take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months for the cashback to be processed and paid to the borrower. This timeline will depend on each individual lender and could be influenced by factors such as the completion of all necessary documentation, verification of eligibility criteria, and the lender's internal procedures.

What is a home loan cashback and how does it work?

A home loan cashback is a financial incentive offered by some lenders to attract borrowers to take out a new home loan or refinance an existing home loan to a new lender. It is usually a lump sum of money deposited into the borrower’s deposit account after they have successfully settled their home loan and met the relevant criteria set by the lender, for example, minimum loan amounts and maximum loan-to-value (LVR). Usually, the cashback can be used for whatever purpose the borrower wants such as using the funds to reduce the loan balance, covering the costs of moving or refinancing or adding it to your savings account.

Can I access eStatements for closed accounts?

Your Business Entity statement will contain all your active accounts and you will continue to receive statements as long as you have an active account. Past statements for closed accounts will be available via Internet Banking to any current ATO’s provided with the ability to view the eStatement. As long as the Business has an active account these ATO’s will be able to access 7 years of eStatements via Internet Banking commencing from August 2015.

How do I update contact details for a Business Entity in Internet Banking?

My Business Statement Preference was Online but it has changed back to Paper?

In order to have a Statement Preference of Online you need to have provided a valid email address for the Business and have provided at least one ATO with the ability to view the eStatement via Internet Banking.

If you no longer have an ATO with the ability to view the eStatement in Internet Banking or we have trouble sending you your notification email then we may revert your Statement Preference back to Paper.

The Business Entity's mailing address has changed. What do I need to do?
